Malcolm Moran: Piano

Bachelor of Music, Piano Performance, College of Saint Rose

Malcolm Moran is a pianist who is originally from the Capital Region of New York State. He is a graduate of the Schenectady County Community College School of Music where he earned an Associate’s degree in music performance and the College of Saint Rose where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in music. From 2014 to 2017 he taught piano at the Cady School of Music in Albany.

He has been hired as an accompanist in many recitals and at NYSSMA festivals on multiple occasions. He also has a substantial background in sacred choral music and has been hired to accompany church services in the area. He has given piano recitals at the College of Saint Rose, St Peter’s Episcopal Church Albany NY, First Church Albany NY. He is now pursuing a Master’s degree in piano performance at the Glauser School of Music at Kent State University where he studies with Dr. Jerry Wong.
