Siobhan McCarthy: Voice 

Bachelor of Music Concentrating in Voice at the University of Akron School of Music

Siobhan graduated with a BA in Music concentrating in voice at the University of Akron School of Music at the end of 2014. She grew up studying music and art at The Interlochen Center for the Arts in Northern Michigan. Siobhan has performed with many local organizations including The Cleveland Chorus. Some of Siobhanís more recent performances were the Weathervane Theater's production of "Dracula" in 2015 and Spamalot" in 2016. She has been teaching children, teens as well as adults piano and voice lessons since 2010 and loves it! This inspired her to earn her Kindermusik teaching license in 2016. Along with teaching, she performs on her Celtic Harp for events. 

Siobhan is featured as a vocalist on the CD for publication of the new textbook, "Music Theory for Today's Musician" by Ralph Turek and Daniel McCarthy, published by Routledge Francis & Taylor. She is currently editing an album she made with her father, Dr. Daniel McCarthy, some samples are on Soundcloud. Outside of music, Siobhan has strong interests in exercise, Holistic Medicine and loves hiking with her dogs. She plans to continue performing while pursuing her career in teaching music.
