Drew began his vocal journey as a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Children’s Chorus and then Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus where he fell in love with singing in varied languages and alongside the Cleveland Orchestra.  Drew has performed in various productions as a member of the Kent State Opera Theatre to include Bob in Menotti’s The Old Maid and the Thief, Figaro in excerpts from Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, Usher in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial by Jury and Monsieur Balandard in Offenbach’s A Musical Evening at the Choufleuris’ , just to name a few.

Drew is passionate about teaching all genres of vocal music be it musical theatre, classical, pop, church – whatever keeps his students striving to learn while having fun and practicing good vocal health! 

Drew has also performed in various High Holy Days services with Fairmount Temple, as well as previously with Kent State Chorale and currently with the Kent Chorus, and holds the role of baritone section leader at Trinity Lutheran Church of Kent. 

In his spare time, Drew can be found at the gym or enjoying many of the musical venues or theatrical offerings in the area, and you may catch him at Ming’s grabbing a bubble tea!
